Chicago White Sox vs Detroit Tigers

White Sox will host Tigers for third game in three-games set. For CHWS will start right-handed Jon Steven Garland. He pitched 70 innings with 4-2 record and 6,04 ERA. In his last start against Tigers he was smashed in 5 innings when he allowed 13 hits with 7 runs. For Tigers will start at the mound left-handed veteran Kenneth Scott Rogers. He pitched 76,1 innings with 7-3 record and 3,54 ERA. In his last start against Red Sox at home he pitched really cool when he allowed only 1 earned run in seven innings. Rogers is usually little weaker on the road, but tonight I expect one of the stronger starts from him. Tigers bat will be without Young, Monroe is doubt. and Rodriguez is quest. for tonight game. White Sox bat only Uribe quest. At all when count bats, Tigers are better in hitting against right-handed pitchers in .282 AVG overall than White Sox against lefty on .250 AVG overall. Tigers with better starter and with solid hitting against Garland have surely good chance to break L3 from last games and will do maximum to avoid the sweep from CWS tonight.

Arizona Diamondbacks vs New York Mets

Mets will visit Arizona at Chase Field. Orlando P. Hernandez will take the mound for New York in the series opener. The veteran right-hander is 1-1 with a 6.55 ERA in two starts since being acquired in a May 24 trade that sent reliever Jorge Julio to Arizona. For Diamondbacks will start at the mound right-handed Claudio Vargas. He pitched 53,2 innings season with 6-2 record and 5,20 ERA. In his last 4 homes starts he showed really solid performance and I hope that he will continue in this trend. Mets bat have little problem with injuries, when Reyes is quest. with wrist, Floyd is so quest. with ankle and Delgado is quest. too, when he rested in last game. Diamondbacks bat will be in full strength. Diamondbacks bat have really cool hitting against right-handed pitchers at home on .302 AVG and Hernandez will have full hands of work tonigt IMO. Both bullpens in cool form so I expect, that key for success will be better starting pitching. Vargas is just now better SP in my eyes and for Hernandez will be surely tough start against his former team. Arizona know him very well and I feel it like an advantage and I follow Diamondbacks tonight.
