Voskoboeva – Kloesel

Sandra Kloesel hasn't have good results on hardcourts this year (so far). Only bright spot was her match against Kuznetsova on US Open where she was real pain in the ass. She had that momentioum and that was it. I doubt she can perform with same style. After early exit from US Open she decided to take a part on following two ITF tournaments in Italy and France. In both ocassions she was runner-up. Surface was clay and last match was played on Sunday in Bordeaux. Than she decided to appear in India just days later. New conditions, new surface (hardcourts) and not such a short flight can have some negative effect on her especially because she didn't have many time for preparation. On other side Voskoboeva is fair chick. Already participated on this tournament previous year and was out in 2nd round against Myskina. Probably the best tournament performance from her side was in New Heaven where she defeated players like Kostanic, Stosur and injured Chakvetadze. IMO Galina should kick her out.

Srebotnik – Sucha

Katarina has big ambitions for this tournament and i just hope she won't have so many troubles in first round as she had last year against Nagyova. Competitions is stronger this year so it will be harder to come into final. But on other hand also Katarina is better and improved player this year and beside that she was in good form lately – i hope she kept it. Sucha can be a tricky player but i believe this time she will be too short for Katarina. She was in Portoroz last year and she was out in 1st round. Kata is defending final from last year, this is her home tournament so there is plenty of motive. All three previous h2h games went into Katarina's favour.
